Toyota and Lexus provides Electrification Safety Training. This is to provision access only to Toyota and Lexus service and repair manuals containing safety information about Electric Vehicles (EVs), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs).
About the Electrification Safety Training module.
Improve knowledge and understanding of the depowering process required for the four types of electrification vehicle formats available in the Toyota and Lexus ranges. Areas covered include:
- Introduction.
- Driveline Systems.
- Identification of Electrified Vehicles.
- Service Plug Grip Variations.
- Isolation (Depower) of Electrified Vehicles.
- Hybrid Safety Kit and PPE requirements.

How to access the Training.
Once you complete the training request form below, our Support Team will process your request and you will receive an invitation to the Technical Training Platform where you can complete the Electrification Safety Training module.
Once you successfully complete the training, you will then be given access to (via a paid subscription) Toyota and Lexus service and repair manuals containing safety information about Electric Vehicles (EVs), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs).
